TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. But factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
